Content: Nikolas is busy actually doing his job. The crew, of course, is there to get in his way.

Now that the irritating distraction of Amicus was over, Nikolas had dared to venture out of his room in order to get some actual work done. After all of the damage the ship had taken while fighting the pirate ships, a lot of maintenance work had been required, and it was part of his responsibility to make sure everything was going according to schedule. This was the part of the job Nikolas actually liked--looking after things, making sure the crew was actually doing their jobs, redirecting people as needed. The whole 'keeping up moral' thing could be left to one of the other boatswains, for all he cared. Nik wasn't out to make friends, he was there to make sure shit got done on a timely fashion.
It was for that reason alone he was out in a visible capacity today, working his way through the entirety of the ship.
