Pip really hoped he was just seeing things. Really.

He hadn't remembered the two very clearly, to be honest - after all, he only had one eye (a good eye, but still one eye) and the last time he had seem them was three months ago through the scope of a sniper rifle when he shot down their balloon in the hoo-haa that had taken place in Colvus. He thought that had been the very last he would see of them but...

Well, apparently stupidity had the tenancy of a cockroach.

Those two idiots were pretty easy to follow with the trail of chaos and disaster they had left in their wake. Pip leaped over a couple of fallen over bits of furniture and baskets as he glanced at the closing gap in the crowd, just barely noticing the two figures of Doc and Holly fleeing from the scene.

Hissing out an annoyed 'merde' under his breath, he turned back to Greed from behind and jerked his head in the direction of the duo. "C'mon, zey vent zat vay," he said before bolting off towards the two troublemakers once more.

Greed wasn't too far behind Pip; maybe just a step. He remembered what had happened in Colvus, though just barely considering he was pretty drunk during most of it. But, he did remember, though not by name, Doc and Holly.

Greed wasn't sure to be glad their target was so easy or to be annoyed to have to actually deal with them this time.

The two had picked up a third member in their little hunting party and Greed glanced back every few seconds to make sure she didn't end up trampled. Turning back to Pip he shouted back. "I can see that!"

Greed continued to push and shove his way through the crowd to make sure they didn't slow down.

For once, Coraline was glad she was so small. Though the crowd was thick, she could easily slip through the gaps the other two had left after shoving people aside. She did have a somewhat hard time keeping up with them, though; their stride was at least twice hers, so she had to run twice as fast to keep up.

She wasn't complaining, though. This was the first real 'action' she had gotten to be a part of since she left home, so there was no way she'd let herself screw it up.

Guess it vas obvious, Pip thought to himself as he hurried after the fleeing duo, shoving aside the crowd with shouts and yelps and mutterings of 'excuse me' as the mercenary pushed through the crowd in pursuit of the petty thieves, who were getting increasingly hard to go after due to the crowd blocking his view. The fact that he had only one eye did not help much. Dammit.

Cursing under his breath, the brunette twisted around as he saw the two turning round a corner into a line of stalls and followed after them, only to stop and stumble and almost falling down when he almost found himself crashing head on into a strange... furry anthropic lizard thing. The person... thing glared at him for a long moment, scrutinizing the human with some distaste before snorting in annoyance. "You almossst crassshed into me, human."

"A-Ah, apologies," the man quickly muttered, blinking in surprise before weaving around to catch up with Greed and the girl, shouting out to both of them. "Which vay did zey go now?"

Greed almost went crashing into Pip from his sudden stop but since he moved, the Quartermaster went flying into the big lizardy thing instead. Letting out a stream of curses as the two were nearly knocked off their feet, Greed stumbled back and made for a hasty get away.

Before he could get far the demi-human snatched him by the collar of his jacket. "Not ssso fasst, Ssstupid!"

Dammit, dammit, they didn't have time for this crap. Greed spun around and sent a kick to release him.

Coraline skidded to a halt before she too could run into the scuffling pair. Taking a few steps back, she glanced in the direction the two they were chasing were running off in; they were just dissappearing around another corner. She knew she couldn't help Roa fight the demi-human off, so she'd have to do the next best thing she could to help.

Ducking around them and several startled passerby, she ran at full speed to where the duo had slipped away. She knew she probably wouldn't be able to catch up to them, but as long as she was able to keep them in sight, it wouldn't be a wasted effort.

The man was about to go off once more when he heard the demihuman cursing in that slithery voice of his and the mercenary turned back to see Greed sending a kick to the other's general direction. But the creature was faster, and grabbed the quartermaster's foot before it could land on him.

Ah hell, they didn't have time for this! Pip bit back a curse as he went to the duo, holding up his hands in a gesture of surrender as he attempted damage control. "Apologies monsieur, but ve're in a hurry and ve can't have time for delays. Ve're really sorry for almost crashing into you and hope your forgive us."

He then glanced to Pip, jerking his head slightly towards the creature in a silent command to tell him to apologize to the creature too. They couldn't waste time arguing.

Greed growled when his foot was caught. Before the Demi-human could get a chance to break his leg, Greed covered his arm in shield and readied a punch.

And that was when Pip ran up. Dammit. He glanced between him and the Lizard and let out a Tch. He hated Pip was right.

"Whatever, Sorry." He grumbled out. Good enough? He hoped so because that was all he was getting.

"C'mon, move out of the way!" Coraline yelled as she continued to push her way through the crowd, the two slipping in and out of sight. The crowd seemed to be getting thicker the more distance they covered, so how the heck could they still manage to stay so far ahead?!

She thought she saw a couple of the other crew members in the crowd, but didn't bother to turn and look. If they were from the Fiertia? Good. Even if she comehow managed to catch the two, she doubted she'd be able to subdue them. Two adults against one kid were not favorable odds.

The creature eyed Pip once again critically, the action causing the man to gulp slightly - he kind of felt as if he was some fresh tasty piece of meat there and then with the way the demihuman seemed to be looking at him. For a long moment, it stared at the human before its gaze averted to the homunculus and then the eyes narrowed before it snorted and let go of Greed' leg rather distastefully. "Be careful where you ssse next time," muttered the creature before it huffed and turned, walking away with a clear dismissal.

Pip tried his best to hide his discomfort at the demi-human's anger as he turned to look at the other quartermaster. "You alright zere, mate?" he asked, more of a formality rather than anything else. He had seen Greed's power before, so he knew the man would be fine. Turning his head to see Coraline trying to go through the crowd, he glanced back at Greed and jerked his head towards the girl's direction. "C'mon, let's go."

Greed mumbled something vulgar under his breath but most of it was lost in the crowd. He turned to pip and let out another "Tch". After that he nodded. "Yeah, M'fine. We need to catch the girl. If she manages to catch up to them I have no fucking idea how she's going to stop them."

Greed took off running in Coraline's direction, shoving his way through the crowd much harder than before. He had a lot of ground to make up for and all these damn people were not going to stop him.

Coraline glanced to her side as Greed caught up with her, then quickly focused back on the targets. They still weren't any closer in catching up to them, and she was begining to get short on breath.

"This is crazy!" She said. "How the heck are they still so far ahead!?"

"Sheer dumb luck," Pip hissed once he managed to catch up with the duo (being slower than them since he was carrying some weaponry with him and his clothes were kinda hard to move about it). "Zey're ze idiots who could kidnap a kitty and try to escape in a 'ot-air balloon after all." Not that they succeeded, but. Still, they had cut it pretty fucking close there and then. A minute more and Mew would have most likely managed to get away from them all by them.

He glanced around, seeing for a better way around the crowd in order to catch the thieves and noticed Yuri's group rounding around one of the corners, a plan forming in his mind. "Let's hurry up," the mercenary said as he jammed his hat on his head to prevent it from falling out. "Ze cap'n's after zem as vell so ve might be able to get a good shot at catchin' ze two idiots."

Or at least, he hoped so.
