Content: Edgeworth's shoulder is acting up again. Perhaps a doctor's visit is in order
Setting: The infirmary
Time: The afternoon after Amicus
Warnings: It's just a simple checkup. There's nothing to see here.
Edgeworth had made no plans to visit the doctors this afternoon. His health was perfectly fine thank you very much, save for a (relatively) minor shoulder injury. Even that wasn't anything to get worked up about; the bullet had failed to hit anything vital or do any lasting damage, and it had begun to heal quite nicely. The only problem was that it had left his shoulder just a bit sore. He reminded himself that it was a minor inconvenience, and that there was no need to waste his time or the medical staffs' with a minuscule amount of pain. It was absolutely nothing to worry about.
At least, that's what Edgeworth thought until he actually tried to use his bad arm. All he did was move an errant book off of his desk, but that alone was nearly enough to spur an excruciatingly piercing howl of pain; the only thing that saved the crew's ear drums was the first mate's iron will (and his now abused lower lip). After the throbbing subsided, Edgeworth took a deep breath and thought over his options. Perhaps he had been a little too hard on his arm, despite his attempts to listen to the doctors' advice. It was certainly nothing to get worried about, but in this case, it might be wise to see them once more.
Well, there was no need to waste more time than necessary. In the interest of haste, Edgeworth pushed aside an initial moment of hesitation, and quickly made his way to the infirmary. He took a deep breath, and knocked on the door, hoping that one of them would be available now. If he was going to be here, he might as well get it over with as soon as possible
