Content: In where Hijikata tries to be a good pet owner, discovers that Chi hates doctors and said doctor laughs at his pain.
Setting: Medical ward, the Victoria II.
Time: Soon after the Vic is docked in Bellcius, before the announcement about the 4423.

Hijikata wasn't exactly the best pet owner in the world, but even he knew that he had to take the cat for a check up someday.
It wasn't that he was afraid of getting something from the kitten or anything (since from the cat's story, he had hardly been anywhere besides the ship she had been on, a sack or something and then here) but rather he was more concerned (though he'd never admit it) that the cat would get something from here. So far there hadn't been anything fortunately, but still it was better to be safe than to be sorry. Hence, why he had decided to bring Chi over to the doctor's.
...he doubted Jade would count as a proper vet, but at least he was better than that creepy nurse... or anyone else in Bellcius. Quality was so damn hard to find around the city, after all. Not to mention he didn't want to go into the city unless it was absolutely necessary. So here he was, walking down towards the doctor's office with one arm in a sling and the other holding Chi as gently as he could with one hand. He hadn't told the kitten that they were going to the doctor's - all he had done was to walk into his office, picked up the cat and headed towards here.
Looking down to glance a look at the cat in his hand, Hijikata then looked back up before he gently kicked the door a few times (since he couldn't use his hands) before he called out to the man inside. "Oy. Is anyone in there?"
