Her shift was beginning, and Miyo took to her post with a smile. It wasn't that there was much to smile at, but wouldn't it be nice for her patients to be greeted with a radiant smile? Was not the purpose of a doctor to bring healing and comfort?
she chuckled lightly to herself. She knew quite well that some avoided the infirmary, and that wasn't just the admiral. Whether that was due to a general distaste for doctors and hospitals or specifically due to her presence she couldn't tell. She didn't much care. Sooner or later the crew had to come to her, whether they liked it or not. The job of a doctor was essential, after all~ To hold their lives in her hands, it really was an honor.
Well, it was about time to begin. She had a few appointments, but it was looking to be a relatively slow day. Of course, she knew full well that was subject to change with no notice at all.
She shrugged on her coat and sat down, filling out a few reports as she waited for her first patient to arrive.
