That, and formulating any type of strategy at all wouldn't be possible without information.
He stood up as straight as possible and knocked on the door, hoping that Ryuzaki wasn't too busy at the moment.

He put the bowl of candy out again and continued to sit in his chair. Thankfully, it seemed like other than the castle, most of the other teams had not had as hard a time and he had already spoken to everyone but Giselle on the matter.

He tilted his head slightly and waited for the answer.
[[OOC: You'll have to forgive me for being uninformed; it's hard for me to keep up, so leaving Uryuu out of the loop was my easiest option since I just started. D:]

[OOC: Not a problem, L knows he's a newb anyway so it's not a big deal]

"There have been some problems out there recently. Is there anything we should be aware of? Even if not all of the crew is privy to that information, well..." he trailed off. He didn't consider himself privileged, really, but the wave of insanity that had swept the skies in recent times had him just slightly on edge. He didn't comment on the bar.

He supposed it was important for the Strategist to know the numbers he was working with. "Ness has been temporarily relieved of duty, so we have one less doctor than our usual number. The ship sustained only minor damage from the candy apparitions, otherwise the ship is functioning within expected parameters. Is there any other data you require?"
He crunched down on his candy and waited for the response. He was interested in gauging Uryuu's reactions, it was important that he trust his strategists and understand their reasoning.

He pushed his glasses up his nose and considered for a minute. There probably wasn't anything else that was entirely relevant. Since this was not a military ship, they were in a bit less danger. However, it seemed to Ishida that anyone in the skies was potentially in some kind of danger, especially lately.
"I don't think so," he said, smoothly, "I just like to make sure I'm prepared, you understand."

"We will be en route to Kropmork for some time. It is possible we will encounter some difficulty on the way. There has been some increased pirate activity." That definitely something he didn't usually concern himself about that had been of more importance to him lately. "We do not usually encounter difficulty with them, although we do look ornate and are can become a target occasionally. Our usual state of disrepair protects us, however we are in mostly good shape, perhaps additional sentries should be posted. I will leave that in your hands."
He was curious what the Strategist would choose.
