The distress call from Jushirou hadn't exactly surprised the enchantress, but her concern did pique as the message had abruptly come to an end, following an unceremonious crash. And that was never a good sign, was it? From the sound of it, in addition to the violent coughing, he'd lost consciousness or collapsed, and was quite possibly in a worse state than his entry had implied. Time for Yuuko to do her job, then, if duty was calling her from death's door.
Ryuuken had informed her of the call before she'd had a chance to access her respected journal, and she hurried as fast as her heels could take her, Tohsaka Rin in tow.
"I may need your help, should the opportunity arise, so keep on your toes, Rin-chan," purred the witch, eyes traveling briefly over her shoulder to address the younger girl.

"How's his pulse?" the enchantress questioned, now kneeling elegantly on the other side of Jushirou. She made no move to touch the unconscious man, and instead watched her fellow doctor at work, eyes catching each movement of his hand. There was no use in touching him when Ryuuken had everything under control. Jushirou had called for her specifically, and so Yuuko had come, but she wouldn't intentionally get in the way unless asked.

Biting his lip Toshirou did his best to keep from rushing to Jushirou's side. He wouldn't do him any good getting in the doctor's way.

"Do they know what's wrong with him, Taichou?" Rangiku asked.

He felt ashamed that he'd let his pride prevent him for apologizing to her for his actions so long ago. "I.......I don't know." Toshirou replied in a small voice. He hated that there was nothing he could do for the person he cared about.

"Ne, he sounded so weak..." Rangiku sighed softly as she glanced over towards the doctors. After meeting Yuuko thanks to Gin, she knew that the dark-haired woman would do her best to help the sickly quartermaster. Yuuko is a good person in Rangiku's opinion. A tad mysterious here and there but she was sure that mage-like healer could at least elevate Jushirou's agony for a few hours or so.
"I really hope he'll be okay..." She mumbled.
