Characters: Heihachi Hayashida & Toshizou Hijikata
Content: Heihachi has a present for Hijikata...one he doesn't trust to keep in his own posession.
Setting: Hijikata's Room, 4423.
Time: Backdated to the day Heihachi returned to the ship. Sorry Ket, I meant to do this earlier. orz
Warnings: The BLINDING GLITTER of Hijikata's room after Souji's decorating spree. Otherwise nuttin'~
Normally, Heihachi would have taken his time getting to Hijikata’s room. He kept crossing paths with new faces that must have joined in his absence, and he was keen to drop by the engine room and check on everything even though he know Souji would have taken care of it properly in his absence, but today he wasn’t in the mood for the more leisurely route. The box tucked away in his bag for Hijikata felt like an enormous weight to carry. More than once he’d simply considered throwing it away and letting fate decide what might happen to it, but he couldn’t bring himself to. Instead he was going to leave it in the possession of someone he trusted much more then himself and let them decide what to do with it.
If he had to guess, though, Hijikata would be far too pragmatic to throw it away even though hopefully they would never even need to use it. He probably also wouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth and ask too many question which Heihachi wouldn’t be entirely comfortable in answering. He just wanted the box to be out of his possession so he could stop thinking about it already, and so it was with a certain amount of relief that he found his way to Hijikata’s door and knocked.
