"With hexes, they tend to wear off over time, months or so, without the need of a mage or 'magician', as you call them..." The brunette glanced over to Gorobei for a moment. "However, curses are completely different and can only be broken by the witch who first cast that curse. Hexes can be broken by any mage available." With that said Yuna approached Phoenix and thanked him for finding the finding the crystal out of her bag. She took the crystal into her hand and returned to the pair, this time kneeling in front of Komachi with the glowing mana crystal in her hand.
"Trust me..." She whispered to the little girl before the magic within her stone began to shimmer brighter.
"It's not going to hurt at all."
Once the blue glow engulfed the crystal, the light flowed towards Komachi’s injured wrist and enveloped it with its eerie radiance. The blue light started to glow red instead, indicating the presence of the supposed ‘hex’ that Yuna mentioned a moment ago. “Hm…” The brunette continue to watch in mild worry for a few moments before the reddish glow faded and the light returned to blue again. To Komachi, the spell would have probably left her feeling a tad refreshed now or just a bit calmer now. As the magic began to evaporate, the mana crystal she held in her hand turned translucent indicating that it is empty.
“Well, this one is dead now…” Yuna said with a little sigh. “Rhyme, you know what to do.”

"My wound is fine. I'll put some alcohol over it tonight, after I take a-" That though brought up an entirely new problem. Where were he and Komachi supposed to stay tonight? Komachi was obviously tired, Gorobei wasn't feeling that well himself, and they were resting in the middle of a dilapidated city.
Those girls had said they were from the Way, right? The other man was from the Vic, and Gorobei did not want to come too close to that ship when he wasn't in his best form. "We have no where to stay tonight. Are there still some cheap hotels standing somewhere? Maybe a shelter for those caught in the middle of this mess?"

Still, nothing bad seemed to be happening - in fact, she felt better than before, and managed to venture a small smile in Yuna's direction. She pulled her arm back a little as the light faded. Rhyme looked nice, but that didn't mean Komachi had to like the idea of someone putting stitches in her.

Rhyme held Komachi's arm carefully. Even though there didn't seem to be any nerve or muscle damage you could never be to sure and it was better safe than sorry.
"I'm going to do some magic, alright? That will make it so you don't need any stitches, just a bandage." She closed her eyes and concentrated hard, her energy was focused mainly on knitting together the cleaned cuts and making sure that Komachi felt better. That took all of her concentration.
Yuna could deal with Gorobei's questions.

"Why not come to the Winding Way?" She was sure that Captain Kurt wouldn't mind sheltering these two for a few nights or so. Besides, everyone aboard the ship is very friendly and kind just like Rhyme and Rikku.
"I don't think the captain would mind, sir." Yuna said with a bright smile.

"You mean the theater ship?" he asked. Maybe that was the best place for them. The Victoria II wasn't exactly the friendliest place - they were probably better off on the Way. Besides, he couldn't personally attest to the quality of the Victoria II's doctors. He had no doubt that they were excellent, but he had no experience with them.

Turning his eyes to Phoenix, though still keeping close attention to what was happening to Komachi, Gorobei pulled out a small bag from his shirt. The bag was filled with cat treats, but also included a note. "You're from the Vic, right?"
While he had been waiting to hear from Heihachi, Gorobei had been studying the code left by Hijikata. It was meant for the 4423's Hijikata, and Gorobei doubted he could ever have decoded it himself, but he had tried anyway. "You want to give this to Hijikata for me? He's a friend of mine and I owed him something. Ah, and feel free to read it. Hijikata and I have nothing to hide." He sent Phoenix an exaggerated wink before handing the bag forward to the man.
[[OOC: The note reads:
"Dear Sven,
Your ship passes with a C. Your room, however, was especially nice. You'll have to invite me over again sometime and we'll have to further discuss the intricacies of ship cleanliness and maintenance.
Missing You,
Ivonian Health Inspector 4423"
If Phoenix could give this to Hijikata, that would be splendid. :D ]]

She gave a little laugh at the look on Phoenix's face. He didn't like being called Mr Spiky Hair? He looked like a Mr Spiky Hair to her.

Komachi's arm looked much better now, too. It looked just like a slightly red scratch rather than something more dangerous.
"And you're all set."
She did still start to wrap up the cut, mostly to make sure nothing got into the still healing wound.

"Yep, that's the ship we are from!" The brunette grinned at him with a wink before glancing over to Gorobei and Komachi.
"If you want to stay there for a little while, we should get going before it gets any darker out." She said as she rummaged about through the room picking up the dimly glowing crystals that were now losing their luminance.
"I think we might be heading back over the border soon, not sure..." Yuna said a little absentmindedly.

Although Gorobei was known for his over-the-top speech and dramatics, he really meant every word of his gratitude. He didn't want to think about how miserable they might be if no one had come to their aid.
Once Komachi's arm was wrapped, he pulled her back into his chest, once again taking the role of her protective figure. He was ready to leave now, and wouldn't be held up by a hurt leg or a street full of rubble. "Would you ladies mind leading the way? We'd like to make it to safety as quickly as possible, if that's okay."
He nodded at Phoenix one more time. "Thanks again for your help as well."

He shrugged it off. "I'd better get back. Good luck." And he meant it. I wonder if I'll ever see these people again....
