Characters: Adrian Andrews, Arthur Kirkland
Content: the birthday boy on the Vicky gets a nice treat. Tea, anyone? 8)
Setting: Arthur's room.
Time: Sometime before lunch, early noon.
Warnings: ..the same warnings applied to any flailing person, hot tea on the floor? The floor? Only time will tell.
After tidying up the kitchen in a good final ten minutes, Adrian made her way over to one of the many trays stacked in the cabinet and started up a kettle of boiling water while digging around the refrigerator for the deserts she hid in the back. It went without saying that it was more than well hidden--considering the hungry appetites on board and the sweet teeth she knew several people harbored--but it didn't take long for her to find the small box of meringue tucked away in the back corner.
Carefully extracting one drizzled with small almonds, she placed it on a small plate perched on the tray and moved back towards the oven, making her way over to pluck two cups and several tea leaves.
With a sigh and a quick push of the glasses sliding down her nose, she cautiously picked up the tray with its piping hot cups of tea and meringue, and made her way out of the kitchen.
Now where did he say his room was?
She paused, standing between an intersection of hallways before his instructions rang clear through her head. Finally reaching the front of his door, she cleared her throat and spoke as clear as she could.
"Mr. Kirkland? I-It's Adrian Andrews!"
