TEOCUITLATL: SQUARE G4

Dec 07, 2007 16:33

The curve of beach that starts at the north of this area continues westward, making half the land in this square nothing but beach - that is, except for the interruption of the wall of coral, which travels in a more jagged line here.

Towards the middle of this area, the coral has collapsed inwards, though the cause of this is not apparent. The debris has long since been overtaken by creeping jungle vines, and if one looks close, they might see birds' nests cleverly hidden in the alcoves left behind by the collapse.

The jungle here isn't quite as thick as it is in other areas, thanks to slightly rockier ground, but it's still very difficult to see past the foliage to what's ahead.
