Characters: Shinjiro Aragaki and the crew of the Silvana
Content: After the Silvana deals with the spiders and starts cleaning up the mess, Shinji starts up on feeding folks whether he likes it or not.
Setting: The Kitchen
Time: Afternoon, after the air-battle with the giant spider
Warnings: Shinji grump
The kitchen was calming, and he needed that now. The smells of cooking food and brewing coffee did wonders on the nerves of men must stronger then Shinjiro, so he had no qualms about giving into the warm feelings.
He didn't have the energy to go all out on dinner, so the stew slow-cooking in the pot was nice. Just a little water once and awhile, and he could relax a little. The hand radio on the counter helped too: playing music and occasional news briefs. It was wonderful white noise.
He sighed, leaning on the counter. His trademark coat and hat were gone, sitting on a chair near by and a almost smile flickered on his face. He knew he should be worried about what happened with Castor and Toshirou... but he couldn't CHANGE anything about it yet. So why bother?
