Interesting. Jr. figured that Shinjiro wouldn't be interested in talking, much less to him, after that little fiasco. But hey, Jr. wasn't going to give up the chance to strike up conversation. He didn't want the entire trip to become all boring now, would he?

"Yeah, though, my old man more specifically," he answered. "We actually don't expect anything right now, especially with diplomatic relations being so high strung, but I guess he didn't want me having fun while I'm on the Silvana."

That was actually true. Gaignun did ask Jr. to be on the lookout for any potential ways to break into the Ivonan market. It was, of course, unimportant to his real task at hand: finding out whether or not Albedo was truly alive, and if a six hundred and sixty-ninth clone of Dimitri Yuriev existed or not. But still, Jr. and Gaignun had new lives now, and they intended to fully enjoy them once this business was finished.

Tear had expected their walk towards their next destination to be filled with silence. One with a slight tension. However, it was the complete opposite - which was a good thing, actually, in more than one ways.

She could now observe them much easier. With two people instead of three, it wasn't as difficult to keep an eye on all of them.

"And what are things you find entertaining, if I may ask?" she inquired, glancing from Jr. to Aragaki, indicating she wasn't aiming this question entirely for the gunner, and that the cook was free to answer as well.

"That's your problem. Now's the time to do it. Businesses are going under due to the cut off trade. People are scared to start new ones. Get in while it's on the low." He said, his voice almost relaxed. Business wasn't his forte, but he had a quick mind and had known Mitsuru for years. You picked up on a few things.

"Abanstire. The strikes. If you go in and offer anything better then what they have now, they'll flock to you." And that was just from knowing, and being, someone on the skids. Hope could drive a man to a lot of things. Desperation to.

He looked back at Tear, his head cocking just a bit.

"Hell if I know. I just do what seems like a good kick at the time."

"Yeah, I know," Jr. huffed. "We're trying here, but heck, I think we should probably set up in the Badlands first before trying to get into this country. But you do have a good point there." Jr. certainly did know his business, but talking about business was, quite honestly, boring. So he perked up when Tear asked what he did for fun.

"I'm really into guns. Antique ones," he said with the enthusiasm of a child. "Oh, and I like listening to radio dramas, the action ones especially."

Although Aragaki's answer wasn't exactly the most detailed, at least Jr. had a long enough response.

"Ah, radio dramas...I don't often have the time to hear those," she stated, thoughtfully. "Do you ever listen to any of those, Aragaki?" She glanced over at the cook inquiringly.

It would probably be beneficial to learn what they both liked to do in their spare time, but it was rather difficult with Aragaki. She'd have to keep speaking with him to figure out the answer - it was a good thing he was in a better mood than earlier...or, at least, that's how it appeared.

Shinjiro smirked a little at Jr's joy, even with something as adult as guns. Must be nice to have that much enthusiasm for something. Then Tear spoke up, and something happened that both of them would probably never see again: Shinjiro blushed.

The cook turned away quickly, coughing into his free hand and fighting to look aggravated. He scowled and growl and snorted, but even through his mane of hair and high collared coat the red was still visible.

"R-radio dramas? No, no. Wouldn't waste my time..."

If Shinjiro was trying to hide something, he wasn't doing a very good job of it. Funny, since he was doing a stellar job of it up until now. Jr. grinned. Their grumpy little cook wasn't all doom and gloom after all.

"I wouldn't call them a waste of time," he answered. "Radio dramas are unique that unlike plays, all you've got are someone's spoken words to go on. So the networks are hiring stellar writers and emotional speakers to get the point across to you. The dramatic ones are probably the cream of the crop. You should try it sometime."

Tear could feel a subtle smile tug at her lips. She hadn't expected Aragaki to react this way, but it was more than evident that he was at least somewhat fond of radio dramas.

"So I am assuming you often like the suspense?" she remarked, briefly glancing over at Aragaki to indicate once more he was free to make his opinion on the matter.

There were probably a multitude of reasons a person would enjoy radio dramas. Although she wasn't certain on how essential this particular characteristic was, it was worth finding out.
