The jungle becomes denser here as you move away from the beach and the wall of coral. Trees extend high above you and while the canopy offers protection from the sun it offers little relief from the scorching heat present within that muggy forest. Through the trees you can just see the stretch of beach surrounding the island, though wading through the vegetation to get to it might be a worthless effort.
Off to the far west corner lays a small clearing. Within it rests a huge rock that extends into the next square, a suitable landmark and possible vantage point to get a view past the tops of the trees, if you feel up to scaling it.
