Setting: The Kitchen [4423]
Time: Afternoon

Despite the fact that Heihachi made more than enough rice to feed the entire crew of the 4423, Kambei found it necessary to prepare a full course meal for his fellow crewmembers to go along with this rice. Cooking is certainly not a normal chore that the samurai found himself partaking in but he did know how to make a few dishes that he was sure his comrades would enjoy. Judging by how hungry many of the others are, Kambei was sure that this food would be all gone by the time the day us done.
Chopping up a few tender strips of meat, he found in the storage rooms and slicing open all sorts of vegetables to add to the stir fry he is making; Kambei hurriedly cooked up a worthy lunch to feed the weary pirates. A chuckle rang from his lips as he thought of the time he shared a similar meal with his comrades, one that was quite less delicious than this one. “They would never forgive me if I made firefly gruel…” Kambei muttered to himself as he thought of the disgusted face Shichiroji had when he took a sip of the thick and pasty broth.
“No, these men and women are not samurais so they should not be subjected to such displeasures…”
