The day had gone pretty well considering. Cid's step-by-step walkthrough of the ship had finally eneded, and he felt he had a good idea of the bird he was working with. She was an amazing machine, sleek and well taken care of. He could appriciate that.
His options of the crew where going well too. He already had a small bit of admiration for Ivanova and the white-haired kid, not that he would say anything. People were too coddled nowadays, and he wasn't about to let them off easy. Which was kind of the point to his schedual for this evening.
Rowe had hired another mechanic, and Cid wasn't about to work with some wet-earred kid who had no idea what he was doing. It didn't matter to him that this was only his second day here himself, he was still a years experianced engineer. And he demanded the best from anyone he worked with. And so he had sent a message for the new guy, and waited.
