This square covers very little ground. There is nothing but sand here and the edge of the island. A short distance from the edge there is the start of the jungle, however it does not quite enter this area

Luckily Arietta hadn't had as much to drink as Sync (she wouldn't have been able to stomach it if she had) so she had recovered a bit quicker, which gave her the agonizing task of worrying about Sync when he did not want to be worried about. She had tried to back off but worry brought her back to him again and again. Not exactly the best thing to do when he was ready to go off on the next person that annoyed him.

Arietta was somewhat prepared. She may not have liked combat, but she was wearing her uniform, which would offer some protection at least from the vegetation here. She could see the jungle a ways off. It looked like they could get lost in it very easily. They would need to mark their way back. With her shark mother she had used... certain ways to mark things, but since entering the human lifestyle she had learned that such practices were unacceptable. Well, she could always use the knife she carried with her to mark her path. She wasn't skilled enough to use it for much else.

Luckily Sync was there to do the talking to the captain for her. Even though she had become more used to the captain's hard demeanor that did not mean that Arietta liked talking with the captain, causing her to avoid it as much as possible. So she only gave a mumbled, "Yes, sir," before running after Sync, sticking close to his back until they were a little ways away from their captain.
