(no subject)
eric had surgery on his chest last thursday. he had a dip in his chest and it was causing damage to his organs and making it very difficult for him to breathe. so he got his chest cut open, the cartelidge ripped out, a bar placed in to raise his chest, and everything wired back together. intense.
i went friday to visit him and when i got there he started coughing and by that point his pain medication wore off so he was sitting there in so much pain with tears streaming down his face. as i was watching him i felt as if i was feeling his pain because my chest started hurting, i couldn't breathe and i was getting really dizzy. i had to sit down and i'm pretty sure i sat down right just in time cause i was about to pass out...everything went black and it was freakin weird. it made me feel good that eric wanted me to stay with him in the hospital both friday and saturday night. he kept telling everybody that i did great and he loved me for it. hehe makes me happy... who knew i could be such a good nurse.
he's doing a lot better though. monday he got out of the hospital and sunday he was able to get out of his bed by himself. he's got a pretty sweet cut down his chest though.. they took off his dressing and you can see it. it's crazy.
unfortunately he can't do anything for 6 weeks, can't lift anything for a year, and then he can't do other stuff for a certain amount of time but i don't remember what and for how long. i feel bad for him though cause he's missing out on yet another deployment... third time. that freakin blows. [good for me though]
i have been driving like it's my job.
friday- went to indy
saturday- came back to muncie, then went back to indy
sunday- came back to muncie
today [tuesday]- went to noblesville and about to head back to muncie
wednesday- taking carly to the airport in indy then heading back to muncie
thursday- going back to noblesville to take care of eric while mom is in class
saturday- going to noblesville to work xfest.
i'm slowly becoming broke.
