Tonight I went to our Up Till Dawn thing for ESA. It was to celebrate all the money we raised for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital from the letters we sent out asking for donations in October. It was a 9pm-1am event and it was actually a lot of fun.
Fun things:
-hanging out with Amanda, Whitney, Katie, and Emily all night
-a video of a St. Jude's survivor
-root beer pong... I was getting all the cups... Amanda sucked haha
-guitar hero! wooo
-corn hole
-a dance that we learned throughout the night. Katie and I went all out and it was so much fun ha we were ridiculous.
-a drag show. yes.... a drag show. men dressed up as women. It was weird but really funny....and creepy. Cole Korselman was there!! haha I love him.
-making cards for the kids
-4-square
-my friend Ryan doing stand-up comedy
-2 other guys doing comedy. One guy had a guitar and an amaaaazing voice. It was awesome.
-ending the night with a very sad video of a 4 year old not surviving cancer. That wasn't a fun thing, but it shows exactly what happens at the hospital.
-the fact that we raised over $27,700 this year so far. More letters are being sent out so it's freaking awesome that we've done that much to help the kids.
This is why I'm in a service sorority... I get to help sick children. And it makes me feel so good inside to know that I have made a difference. A small one, but still a difference.
