The Most Perfect Date on the Calendar
February 5th.
It's just the perfect day for my birthday to be on! I don't know why, but it just seems to fit me so well. Do other people also feel that way about their birthdays?
I had a very nice day. Sarah and I had all kinds of fun last night and today, and my sister made a fabulous cake for me. Also, she surprised me by taking me out to dinner. I got to glam up for my party, and so many people came. It was a great time. I really mingled with everybody. I am so thankful for all these people in my life.
22. It seems very odd to me. When I was younger, I didn't really think much on the age I was becoming. Maybe all children are like that. You actually look forward to being 5 or 10 or even 15. But 22....I don't think anyone really looks forward to it. At this point in my life, it's more like a "I can't believe I'm 22!" What do I do with myself now?
I don't really like having birthdays on the weekend either. It's a very bizarre feeling. It's almost as if the day didn't happen. But it was really wonderful and I'm sad to say goodbye to another February 5, my most favorite date on th calender. A magical day when all things are possible. My magic spell, when I can do anything, when I see all the love in my life, when everyone comes forward and shows that they care. And I feel so loved by all my friends.
If only we showed each other we cared like this more often!
