Good times in Maine. Thanks to the people who came (if you read this, of course). You definitely livened up what would normally be a rather blah weekend at home. I had so much fun just spending a day at the beach.

My family was so normal, it actually kinda frightened me, and by normal I mean didn't weird people out.

We basically drove up friday night, slept, ate pancakes, and headed out. We went to White's Beach. We played 500 and frisbee and jumped off the dock. Basically we were twelve. It was good. My brother spent the day with us cause he was camping there with Sam. Oh yeah, Pat didn't have a bathing suit so we went to Walmart. (the real taste of maine). They didn't have any though, so he had to buy running shorts. But he like didn't even realize we were going to the beach or something, except he brought his towel. I don't know. It was a really nice day though and we all got sun, some of us more than others. hehe.

After the beach, we had a bbq at my house. The O'Briens came over. We had s'mores. We sat on the tractor. Yes, since my dad's taking down the barn, George's tractor was in our yard. That's a great welcome to maine, isn't it? My mom put a potted flower on it as decoration. She's such a kook.

Then they wanted to see "historic Bath." So we walked around downtown. They liked all those little shops, at least from the outside. I was like, okay, if you say so. They're for tourists so it makes sense. I'm glad they liked it of course. I like the river better. Especially at night. And the stars. To me those were comforting, but to a few of us, they were novelties.

After that we basically watched tv and went to bed. We were tuckered out, and had to make an early start to get Jessie to work. We got her there exactly on time. We're pretty awesome.

Overall I enjoyed the experience. It was strange having them in my house, but cool. I mean, it's not so much that they're school people but people in general. It was nice.

I like my friends. Maine can be cool, so we can say the weekend was a success.
