Meet the Simvalkyrie, my Megahood, and the first of my Warped Experiments
So I've been having a high old time playing the Megahood I downloaded from OMG! It's full of Sims and life couldn't be more grand. I've also completed a Townie Quest - I'm a friend of another blogger on this board who invented the Ultimate Townie Quest and who is also doing an Alphabetacy that many of you are probably reading on here. I love my Simmies. I also love designing Uni lots, which, by the way, do not have glitches (more on that in a moment), probably because I used to work for an award-winning Interior Designer and I used to work at the Design Center in San Francisco. For a while I actually studied Interior Design in college.
Perhaps I am being rude because I have not yet introduced myself. I am one of the Admins at the TS2 BBS on Yuku. A few days ago we had to ban a user who joined the board after pretending to be a rather well-known machinima artist on the EA board. (She was not the person she originally claimed to be.) After two years of peace and a drama-free community, that person came in and began hurling verbal abuse and disruption, then came here and spread lies about our friendly community when we removed her poisonous and toxic presence from it. Since then, she has created a sock account to attempt to override a ban we placed on her IP.
Well, one of the features in my megahood is the three universities: La Fiesta Tech, Academie Le Tour, and Sim State University. One thing I did with the students was separate all the binned students by hobby and then place them into hobby dorms. I also aged down the Larson twins and Chester Gieke, and aged up Johnny Smith.

If you know anything about computers and have any element of software literacy and know how to use the Clean Installer, then the dorms will work with any Uni neighborhood. Numerous people have downloaded them with no problems. One last addition I made to the three campuses was adding a small unisex Greek house to Academie Le Tour, run by an extracted version of an aged-up Amy Jones and an aged-down Amin Sims.
One of the things we decided to do on the Yuku board was to post our Simselves. This was a voluntary activity. The aforementioned troublemaker, who was brand-new to the board, decided to upload hers as well, although she was never asked to do so. I now have an extra Sim in my Megahood that I do not care to play. This Sim, by its own definition, is a Mean Sim, a type I do not care for anyway, and now I need to dispose of it in a way that will not corrupt my neighborhood. This means I either need to play it or kill it.
So Miss Thing voluntarily uploaded her Simself and added it to the group before she started her antics and now I have her Simself in Uni, and I do not want to play it. I initially wanted to feed her to a Cowplant, because simply deleting her could potentially corrupt my game. However, after all the trouble she caused to the other Admins, Mods, and myself, that really would be kind of boring. Besides, I've been wondering about a question that came up about game-play from one of the other Admins on that board who plays without cheats or Elixir:
Specifically, how long will a Sim live who is constantly in the Red Aspiration? I have been told that they do not live for 72 days like a happy Sim, but sometimes only live 65 days.
Thus has evolved my All New Prison Experiment. I have downloaded uniforms and barbed wire and already have the appropriate Cowplants to guard the place. The young woman in the yellow dress will be removed from Uni and sent to the Strangetown State Penitentiary. I will be posting my results here and on Yuku for your education, edification and enjoyment.
I would also like to extend an invitation to all of you who would like to abide by the rules and hate drama to check out the BBS at ts2.yuku.com - we are a tight-knit community, but we have fun discussing our Simmies and coming up with ideas and challenges and providing general moral support to each other.
