Hi, everyone. I'm new, so here's hoping I don't screw this up.
I'm a long-time writer, but a first time Sims storyteller. I've started a guilty-pleasure projected called In Verona. It's a vaguely historical (pre-electric, but taking bits and pieces from so many of those eras that calling it historical is an insult to history) reworking of the Veronaville neighborhood. The families are generally in tact, but the storyline has been changed completely and new and stolen adopted characters have been injected into the mix. It's high on drama and low on shame, and I'm hoping there are a few people out there who will find that combination as entertaining as I do.
The story is hosted at
winterinverona.blogspot.com. (The blog warns for adult content, etc. So far, there really isn't much, but it'll happen.) I strongly suggest reading the
Visitor's Guide before jumping in, as it explains the quirks and pitfalls of the story in a bit more detail. Several chapters have already been posted, including a multi-part prologue. I hope some of you will head over to check it out. Thanks for bearing with me! (And I apologize to anyone who sees a similar post in another community.)
