Question: CD-ROM and DVD-ROM
Hi. I was thinking of possibly purchasing the Sims 2 - Freetime and Seasons. But the only versions i've seen online have CD-ROM Software listed in the lower left side. While all my expansion packs which are - Double Deluxe, Apartment Life, and all 3 collection sets (University/OFB/Pets) have DVD-ROM Software written on them instead. So my question is..
Will buying them cause problems or even work on my computer if they don't say dvd-rom too? Also, is it true that cd-rom versions don't work on newer computers that have windows 7? I recently got a new HP Vista computer that has exactly that thus i'd like to know before attempting to buy either expansion packs. Other than that, anyone know if there's any dvd-rom versions of them? Sorry for all the questions, i'm still fairly new in regards to figuring all this out. :(
