Gosh, I'm so addicted to this game. It's so great to find a community full of other addicts. Now I don't feel so weird! ^_^
Anyway, onto the questions.
My first one is about vampirism. One of my teen Sims was out on a date with Alexander Goth, when he unexpectedly got bitten by Countess Laura and became a vampire. (I didn't even know teens could turn into vampires! I thought it was just adults.) The thing is, I'd like to keep him a vampire, because with a name like Alexander Goth, it's like he was destined to become one, but how do I deal with his schooling? Will he have to skip the rest of his high school days in fear of the sun, or does the game only count him getting on and off the bus as him being outside? And what about university? Does anybody happen to know which major has the most evening classes? I know I can just buy the cure from the gypsy, but like I said, I'd really like to keep vampire Alex if possible.
My second question is, does anybody happen to know what SewnOutfits.package is? I found it a couple of days ago in my Downloads folder, but I play a clean game, so I haven't downloaded anything. I think it may it may have something to do with the custom outfits you can make when you get the Gold sewing badge, as I did create one custom outfit about the time the file was created, but I just want to be certain.
And my last question is about Open for Business. I have Vista, but looking at the system requirements on the ones in the thin packages, OFB only goes up to XP. I got University in the thicker packaging for Christmas (which doesn't show any system requirements), and it works just fine, so would it be okay to get OFB in the same type of packaging for my computer?
Thanks for the help!
EDIT: So I did a test run and had Alexander go to school to see how bad it would turn out. Turns out that his needs weren't that much worse than his hal-brother's and stepbrother's after going to school, which is great, because now I can keep trying to get him more scholarships instead of immediately shipping him off to college. He did have to give up his after-school job, though. He might have been able to handle it, but I wanted him to have the afternoon available to recharge his energy in the coffin.
