This is amazing! I was actually looking for a way to furnish a lot with career rewards but WITHOUT sims, and your solution is just what I need.

Thank you very much!

Can you use this for Maxis lots which aren't in the catalog? There's a few Uni & AL lots I would love to have in different neighborhoods.

Yeah. I am curious now. I have a feeling it will work, though. I mean, when you think about it, what this does is takes a lot file and moves it to the lot catalog. That is all. So, it seems like it has to work.

Wow. Thanks for sharing this. I've been looking for a way to do this very thing, since I'm more of a furnish as I go sort of simmer, and I'd love to be about to share some of these lots.

*adds to memories*

You are so welcome. I am glad it helped. I am a furnish before I move Sims in sort of simmer, but as I said I always wind up updating the lot if new EPs or SPs come out. Then I think about how if I use the version in the Lot Catalog again, I will have to go through all the trouble of updating that one if I use it again and move Sims in. Now, my problem is solved. hehe

I wish I thought to post this sooner, because I have been doing this forever. I figured it out atleast 4 years ago. I feel bad. I always thought everyone knew, so I never posted.

The only part I just figured out, that is the reason I finally posted, is that even if there are people living in the lot and you do the 12 Steps . . . it will only take the lot to the Lot Catalog and not the Sims living in it. That was a brand new find for me, and I felt it was important enough to post.

Atleast you know now, though. Right?

That's why I was so hesitant about packaging up the Greene building, I didn't want to go through the whole process or move them out. BTW, this was one of the Belladonna Cove residentials I used.

What great info, thanks for sharing!
