New hard drive, new problems with FreeTime. (EDIT: Solved!)

Ugh, it feels like every week I'm in here asking you guys yet another question. My computer really, really sucks, I'm sorry.

So, a week or two ago, my hard drive totally blew. Gone. For reasons unknown. So I had to have it replaced, and I did so. I lost all of my programs, so I reinstalled the Sims, and all of my eps. I was having problems with installing a few of them, but usually if I just restarted my computer and tried again they would finally work. Not so for Free Time. I've tried probably ten different times between last night and tonight, and nothing is working.

This is exactly what happens: everything is fine until I have to load the second disk. I do, and then it freezes at 54%, right after I put in disk 2. Or, what I noticed a few of the times, everything would work until the check to make sure the sims is up to date, and the "Please Wait..." box, and it would freeze there.

I really, really don't understand this. FreeTime worked perfectly before, absolutely no problems at all, and now I have a brand new, clean hard drive, and it won't install. I feel like it should be the opposite, you know? Well I tried playing it up to the last EP I could install (Before FT, I had up to Seasons), and everything there works fine, except for some reason, some of the CC I re-downloaded isn't showing up.

If anyone could offer ideas, that would be great. I'm probably going to call Dell again and ask them about it too, but I wanted to ask you guys first. Thanks ♥
