Anime and Movies!
So, I saw the Bleach movie last week. In the movie theatre. Yes it was completely awesome. XD There were people dressed up in shinigami costumes. OoO
I'm stoked because in the beginning they showed a preview of HunterxHunter! Which means Viz has probably licensed it! I'm so happy, you have no idea. I honestly thought it would never get picked up here because of, well... Hisoka. X3
I was at the mall today and saw some anime tshirts on sale at fye. I splurged and bought a Death Note (L) shirt and a Bleach (Ichigo) shirt. Maybe I'll get pictures of them if I ever find my camera charger. I need a new camera by August when I'm going to Otakon (my first anime convention xD). Is anyone else going to be there?
Oh yeah I went to see The Happening. Was totally disappointed. I normally love Shamalat's (sp?) movies, but this one was a let down. It felt like Environmental propoganda. The characters weren't that fleshed out and the ending felt very anticlimactic and didn't give nearly enough closure. It felt more like a prelude than a movie. The overall theme and concept was really interesting, just not pulled together well. Most of the movie felt really random. Honestly, I would have been more entertained by Kung Fu Panda. Should have gone to see that. Blah.
Oh well, I'm still really looking forward to Hancock. Will Smith is love. ♥
