Perhaps a good thing to come out of the stress and general busyness of this semester is that I am writing poetry at an exponential rate. We'll just ignore that quite a lot of it is being written in the midst of lecture notes. (I'll need to sort through the new ones, determine which ones have come back, and also write and send several query letters. There's a competition I want to enter if a) I can manage to put together a cohesive sampling of work and b) find the money to pay the entry fee.) While the only thing I have due this week is my last Reference assignment on Friday, I have three papers due in two weeks. I have Wednesday off (Federal holiday, and all), so day will be spent writing papers. And possibly drinking tea, caffeinated or not. There's also the matter of Pathfinder and Finding aid both being due something soon ...ish, and wrapping up my internship. The fourth paper isn't due until after Thanksgiving, plus the four presentations. The presentations will be easy, and next semester I'm only taking two classes (and I am finished!!!), so it won't be quite so nearly ass-kicking. Reference assignment will be done Tuesday as per normal schedule, and the next majority of free time will be devoted to those papers.
Boston Jewish Film Festival started this past weekend, definitely films in there I'd want to go see, if I had the time. Might be able to find some on DVD eventually, but given there are still three or four films I'm looking for that preimered in past festivals, I'm not entirely hopeful.
Working
