Yesterday had no tea (at least none caffeinated), and felt like I never quite woke up, despite getting full night's sleep. This also being the last black tea I had was the previous morning. So, no caffiene (none) for two days. Drinking some earl grey now.
Headache never manifested beyond that initial hum of ... "um, what?" Aware it was there, but never to the point where I couldn't function. Mostly, just felt like I was constantly dragging. Like I told a co-worker on Monday, "it's not as if I'm not functioning, it's more of a - my body is used to running on a certain bare level of caffiene within a daily basis, that I'm not drinking any, it's currently asking why, but not so much the when."
So, I may play around with my intake. See if I can get myself back down to only 3-5 cups in a day, which was where I was for the better part of a year (just before the current job, yes.) If on any of the rare days I drink coffee, we'll count that as two cups of tea. Any espresso drinks I do are decaf anyway.
I still think next tea I buy will be more along the lines of the rooibos. One, because really do love rooibos, and two, because I have limited options in which I can drink within my tea supply that does have no caffeine.
Meantime, the earl grey now. Will see how I feel later to see what I drink throughout the day, and in those days coming. Real trick is at work, I tell you.
