[Warning: Politics/Current Events]
I read all my news with grains of salt.
From today's Boston Globe (originally from the Washington Post, according to the byline)-
Israel vows 'all-out war' on Hamas.
(The Globe seems to be trying for balanced writing, not leaning towards one right or wrong on either side, and fail miserably. Let's get one thing straight: Israel is not automatically on the offensive. Also, if you're quoting civilians on one side, it's not fair to not quote civilians on the other. Or when you do, not making it clear who the person is. And when your sub-headline is: "Palestinians put death toll at 364"? - I'm curious to know how many this time were by their hands. Because it's certainly nowhere here.)
*swears in Yiddish* And no, nowhere is it so that much better.
(Yes, by the by, I do read the Washington Post also. Among others.)
