You'd think the Olympics would continue to bring about something of more good cheer; but no.

Dear IOC, (and World):

Your grievances given the Swedish wrestler who refused to accept the Bronze is fine. He's only human. If he thinks his way of judging is better than yours, than fine. You have all the right to force him to give back the medal, and disqualify him. Especially seeing as a) this is not his first protest on the dispute of the greco-roman scores, and b) he acted highly unprofessional. Fine, you have your rights.

But (IOC, and) world? Would you lay off the rest? Seriously. Because you're telling me while there's been agreement to a ceasefire, and the Kremlin has signed a Truce, the Russian troops still are refusing to pull out. Yeah, I get that the orders have to come from somewhere, but what is going on here? Should we prepare for full-scale war? More than we are already, of course. In all parts of the globe.

And this? This? - All right, so maybe this, shouldn't surprise me, but still. But how bad can this get? Hizbullah is proven to be violating the 1701 (and given the history, yeah, I'd believe without question they would), all right. What are the odds of another clash? Is it going to be like another summer where I desperately emailed my cousins hoping to get any information? Is this going to turn into another game of cat and mouse and round-robin?

Very fact the YNET article mentions it should be mentioned to Ki-Moon - so does that mean it hasn't? Is this another ploy? - a play within the play to see who the villain is? A trick to win favor where it would not otherwise be given? Or does Ki-Moon know? You phrase things so eloquently - would, and could, and should, and maybe.

Because world? - You know where my favor lies, and this ain't going to change it. (I still want to go back.)

You know. I heard his poetry once, at a lecture in university. I'm not sure I remember the words, but I remember the tension knotted in my shoulders, the way my hands curled around the edges of my seat.

World (and IOC)? - Please just breathe ...?
