yeah, chorus tour was alright. the old cello was not as good as i thought it was at first, but it worked for my purposes. at least i didn't have to leave my cello on the bus in the cold overnight. looks like my cello may be out for the count, because we might leave it broken so we can take it back to grigg's and show them how stupid they were. *sigh*

i had fun on chorus tour, but i would have preferred going home and relaxing for a week to all the go, go, go of tour. it was nuts. arrive, set up, sing, tear down, go to some random person's house, wake up, get on the bus, wash, rinse, repeat. seven performances in nine days. way too much bus riding. it was almost worse than the NY trip, because the seats were a lot closer together. the first day we went from tampa all the way to birmingham, and had our first performance after about 10 hours on a bus. one day we went all the way from chicago to memphis by way of st. louis, which didn't make sense to me at all, arrived late in memphis and had about 20 minutes to set up and change and warm up, which usually takes us an hour at a relaxed pace. then on the last day we went from athens, AL (in the very north of AL, near huntsville) back to tampa. we got very proficient at loading and unloading the bus.

umm.... bye.
