Summary: Kyuhyun needs to be reminded of things sometimes. Especially today of all days.
A/N: My 6th Anniversary celebratory fic for SJ. I chose Kyuhyun for obvious reasons. And just cause I've always loved the Leader and Magnae brothership /lol what is brothership

"Happy Anniversary!"
Glasses were heard clinking while Kyuhyun stayed in the bathroom, wishing so much that he could celebrate wholeheartedly with his brothers too.
With the cover down, he sat on the toilet seat with his hands cradling his face and looking at the mirror opposite him.
I don't belong here.
Eventhough it had been 5 years since he has been with Super Junior, he still couldn't help but feel that sometimes, he still doesn't deserve to be called a part of this amazing group. They've worked hard for 6 years, experienced a lot, been through so much and he was just a year late. Sometimes, he felt as if he was still running after them rather than walking with them.
"Kyuhyun, you okay?" Leeteuk's voice came through the door and Kyuhyun opened it up for him.
"I'm okay." He replied but Leeteuk took one look at him and knew something was wrong.
"Everyone's celebrating in the living room. Why are you here? Do you have an upset stomach?"
Kyuhyun reluctantly nodded his head but then shook it half way. He couldn't lie to Leeteuk. He couldn't lie and put up a charade in front of his hyung. To the others, he would. He would try to be strong in front of the others. But to him, he wouldn't.
Leeteuk saw and motioned Kyuhyun back to the bathroom. Leeteuk went inside and closed the door behind him and leaned on it.
"What's wrong Kyuhyun?"
Kyuhyun looked up at his hyung's face and felt like a very unreasonable, bratty kid.
"I don't belong here. I'm Kyuhyun who debuted a year later. I'm Kyuhyun who stole the magnae position. I'm Kyuhyun, the extra baggage. I'm Kyuhyun who still needs to improve."
Kyuhyun sighed.
"I'm Kyuhyun... the member who debuted late."
Kyuhyun sulked, feeling rotten at how he said all this. It didn't help his feelings at all. It made him feel even worse that he just blurted it all out at their leader.
Kyuhyun didn't look up at Leeteuk, ashamed at what he just said. But a few seconds later, he felt his hyung's hand grip his chin and lifting it up to meet his eyes. His leader was smiling.
"Well, to us, you're Kyuhyun who we're thankful that debuted later rather than never, you're Kyuhyun who we like to call our magnae and who we're proud of calling our magnae, you're Kyuhyun, who is part of everyone's carry on luggage rather than extra baggage and you're Kyuhyun who still does need to improve, just like everyone else, but is nonetheless better than before."
Leeteuk released his hold on Kyuhyun.
"Most importantly, you're Kyuhyun. You're Super Junior's Cho Kyuhyun."
Kyuhyun smiled back up at him and Leeteuk extended his hand for the younger one to pull himself up.
"Now come on and celebrate with us. Kangin, Kibum and Heechul just got here and Zhou Mi and Henry are on their way from the airport. Hankyung is on speaker phone the whole night. You wouldn't want to miss out on all the party now, would you?"
Kyuhyun shook his head.
"Thanks, hyung. I'm sorry." Kyuhyun apologized and Leeteuk ruffled his dongsaeng's hair.
"That's okay. It's my job as your hyung to remind you of who you are once in awhile." He said and Kyuhyun chuckled. He was right. He was glad Leeteuk reminded him of those again.
"I'm thankful you're Super Junior's leader." Kyuhyun said and Leeteuk smiled back again.
"I'm thankful you're Super Junior's magnae."
With that, they walked back to the kitchen and spent the night celebrating their 6 years of being Super Junior.
