Just a general "I'm here" post.
School starts in 2 days, my parents are coming in 3, and Adam's coming in 4. My installation/commissioning is 6 days away. I've met several of my students / parents, but not all of them. There were a few perturbed that I hadn't contacted them sooner to set up home visits, but I didn't get the phone numbers until soon before I left for Orange County for my training.
I have met a Pirate and been invited to October war. She is a Mac person, and runs a Mac lab, so I shall probably be asking her for help on a regular basis. I need to set up my lab and get all of last year's work cleaned off the computers and have them set up fresh for this year.
I've met a gentleman who reminds me a great deal of Charlie Hein, which would be even more thrilling to me if Pastor Walt weren't as old as Charlie was when last I saw him, which means I can't expect him to be around forever. :( *sadness*
I need to go to sleep, so I can wake up in the morning and be at school on time and meet half a dozen parents. Whee!
