Summary: Italy stays out late, and Germany gets worried.
“Doitsu~! Nihon~!” Italy called, bursting into the house, making Germany start.
“Italia! Where have you been? We've been looking for you!” he yelled, and Italy's face fell.
“Ah... D-Doitsu... I was... I was...”
“Come on into the living-room and sit by the fire,” he sighed, “you're probably freezing after being out so long.”
“Ve...” Italy said quietly as he was led inside.
“What were you doing out this late on your own anyway? You could have been attacked! What if England had found you all on your own?”
Italy looked up at him with wide eyes.
“B-but Doitsu... It was important...”
“What could be more important than your safety?”
“D-Doitsu, I... I was buying presents for you and Nihon...” he explained, holding up a beautifully wrapped gift. Germany stared at it, his expression softening.
“Italia...”
“Take it, Doitsu! I hope you like it~” Italy urged. Germany reached out and pickedit up gingerly, unwrapping it curiously. Inside were to large wurst, done up in bows, and a box containing a Gucci watch. Germany looked at Italy's expectant face, and sat down next to him, taking his hand.
“Thank you... Italia... Ich liebe dich...”
“Ti amo, ve.” Italy wrapped his arms around Germany's neck and kissed him.
Japan got an Italian recipe book.
Author's Note: I know, I know, fail presents are fail, but I seriously had no idea what Italy should give them, so yeah, just go with it XD
