I think I can get this area ready to go in the first week.
Basement - Storage area, highest priority
Mold Cleaning, back of Bathroom
Step I. Seal area with Plastic, and set up fans to blow outside.
Step II. Turn off HVAC and begin dismantaling drywall, and wood cleanup.
Step III. Make sure all exposed areas are dry and free of mold.
Step IV. Replace Drywall and the rest of the fixtures as necessary
Crawlspace Cleanout
Step I. Make a space to work in, and gather trash. Also use a "spider stick" to remove cobwebs
Step II. Lower the dirt level away from the registers. May use a tarp and wheelbarrow to get the dirt out of the basement.
Step III. Install 6 mm plastic sheeting to act as a vapor barrer for the crawlspace. Scope out possible spots for the power to go for the mudroom.
Shelving:
Evaluate Plywood home made shelving, or pre-made wire shelves.
Fill Shelves with tubs, camping equipment, etc. Heck, we may need more shelves.
Install Washer/Dryer
If there is enough time, perhaps even:
Install some way to hang clothing there.
Invest in those storage hanger things?
Move in Clothing?
At that point, we can probably call the appliance people. OH yes, BTW, we purchased some appliances. Just a couple. A few.
A Stove, A Fridge, A Washer, A Dryer, A Dishwasher, and a really cool sectional. No really. Can sleep four. ;)
and a Mattress set. Which may also be able to sleep four, but I digress.
At any rate, I may need some help with the basement fun. This is going to be mostly a strong back weak mind kind of thing. Want to get the mold dealt with first, followed by the crawlspace. Followed by multiple showers.
