Just before the houselights went down, a remix of AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long" was blaring over the speakers. When it ended, the lights went down, the curtain went up and Kelly started into the chorus of All I Ever Wanted.

The show was everything I expected! She had incredible vocals, high energy, she interacted with the audience a LOT - talking like she was chatting with her friends. Her banter is on par with Melanie C. At one point she was talking about how her favourite artists - Mariah, Celine, Christina and Pink (who is her favourite) all do hand movements when they're singing. She was like "Well, not so much Pink, but the rest of them. I'm not making fun of them, cause I do it too. So don't go blogging saying I'm making fun of them, cause they'll come kick the crap outta me... Well, no. I could take them, I would throw down. Not Pink, though. She'd kick my ass. I might get one punch in, but that's it. She'd have me down in some yoga position... and I don't do Yoga"

I could've done with less covers, though. Her Alanis/Kings of Leon cover and Seven Nation Army were both fantastic, so she could've left those. And she did well on the other two, but there were some songs she could've sung instead - Addicted, Maybe, Long Shot, Cry, Save You, If No One Will Listen, Don't Let Me Stop You, Beautiful Disaster. Any of those. I guess the Patsy Cline cover was a song she'd done previously and she brought it back by popular demand.

Her encore was phenomenal. 4.5 songs! Who does that these days? And her cover of Seven Nation Army was amazing! What is it about that song? Social Code does it - they kill it. Kelly does it - she kills it! Love it.

Oh, and I loved how she introduced Already Gone. She was like "This song just went to #1. Well, it was already #1 before though. This song is called Halo" I chuckled. And Sober was BRILLIANT!

I forgot to bring a camera, so no videos or pictures. But this is a video from her Oct 4 show with a similar view. It's of the DJ Mix and Seven Nation Army:
