That 12 (13 actually) page paper is mostly finished. Just needs a bibliography. Yayy!!!
In between bouts of writing and staring at a computer screen and checking facebook, I went to the basement to an interfaith discussion panel with a Christian, Jew and Muslim. It was kind of short and I wish there had been a longer question and answer session, but not bad altogether. It occurred to me 4 hours later that I had been sitting on the same couch as the Jewish guy as he talked about how much of a pain in the ass it was to obsessively follow all of the rules laid out in the Torah/Old Testament like not eating anything that has even the slightest possibility of not being kosher and not working on Saturdays. If I remember correctly, there is also a passage about the things that menstruating women sit on being unclean. Guess what time of the month it is? XD Now the question is, do I try to track him down and tell him that he has to go through an extra cleansing ritual because we sat on the same couch? Or is that as ridiculous as I think it sounds? Why does every social interaction I have lately include the concern "what if he thinks I'm stalking him?"?
