Video Game Thoughts
Here are some random musings about the games I've been playing:
Starcon - so the game hadn't changed much since I last played the Ur-Quan masters port. Somewhat disappointing
Freespace 2 - not so bad. I think I need a joystick to play more seriously, though
Beyond the Red Line (Battlestar Galactica conversion): This was fun. They got quite a few things correct (like using Frak). Some other things were a little inconsistent, but the game was enjoyable. It's really hard to target using the guns compared to other games that I've played. Perhaps the whole joystick / controller thing needs to be updated for me to play effectively.
Guitar Hero 2 - Finally cruising through some levels on Expert. Don't have to rely on the star power on Hard levels like I used to. Also getting 5 stars on some songs on Expert too.
Sudoku - I'm not sure why I still play this game. I think it's like my tetris addiction. I play it because it's there and it's easy. My self esteem must be crushed...
