My father was able to make it back home in time for Thanksgiving dinner. We had the most efficient pickup ever. His flight arrived at 4:05pm. We arrived at the gate at 4:08pm. We thought that we would have to wait at least twenty minutes before he stepped out of the customs. We spotted him at 4:09pm. He had his luggage and was ready to go.

Dinner was fairly uneventful. Spent time at the folks with a more traditional Thanksgiving than previous years.

The last couple of days have been pure lazyness bliss. A sampling of which was: Eat, sleep, Guitar Hero, more sleeping, more eating, more Guitar Hero.

I had a work related dream the other day. I'm afraid to know what that's supposed to mean. The funny thing about the dream was it was an ordinary day - no real stress, nothing eventful, but the usual drama. Sort of like a TV reality show.

Watched The Cider House Rules yesterday. Hadn't seen the movie before, but it was fairly entertaining. Obviously biased towards pro-choice and brought up some interesting points.

I started playing God of War (again) today. I'd beaten the game some time ago, but it was a good break from Guitar Hero. Other games have since copied the experience, but God of War certainly elevated the action/puzzle/adventure genre to another level. The new game looks like it's a combination of Prince of Persia 3 plus the old game. It's interesting that the next game will be released on the PS2 next year.
