So, I'm working on a fill for this Ancient Roman!Sherlock/gladiator!John AU prompt, and while later parts are flowing OK and I've got most of the crime plot worked out, the start doesn't want to comply...but I've got Part 1a up at last! (I hate character limits, 1b is also up, I suppose.) Is it fitting that it's the Ides of March?
