hardcore and straight edge are a positive way of life when I found out about hardcore and straight edge it was at a very dark time in my life, my family has always been fucked up and disfunctional but I found hardcore and straight edge, and the brotherhood and unity was so uplifting and powerful that all these kids had the same goals and same feelings as me.
I always tried to fit in but never could but I found all these other kids that felt the same way as me and everyting.
My dad and most of my family are alcoholics and nothing ever good came out of him getting drunk and screaming at me and my mother or him hiting her so I started to hate what he did, he also was a major pothead so when I found out about straight edge it was like perfect.
Im done ranting but this whole story about it being a bad gang and it being bad is bullshit.
