i really DO love chicago
brand new, once again, owned
brian and i left at 9 a.m. and got there at 10:45 a.m.
we waited in line until 12:50 and then they finally let us in right as it started to rain. boy, thanks. oh! while we were waiting in line this drunk guy came by with a harmonica and started singing "SHAKE IT FAST - WATCH YOURSELF" and then jiggled his little money cup. it was funny and sad all at the same time. we don't get that kind of thing in lake geneva. it was pretty creepy.
so the show started at 1 with Eisley. i really dig them. especially the guitarist, she was real rad. Hot Rod Circut...real awesome. The guitarist was friggin nuts and the bassist was all trashed (i believe) and didnt' get out on stage right away because he was too busy getting some Heinikeins. but they were real friggin awesome.
then Brand New finally came on. OH BABY, did they own!!! like i dont even know what to say...
oh! ha they were taping at the show and brian had his orange oven mitts on and the guy was taping the two of us...so check it out and see if we made it on the video. i was also right in the front where the guy was taping, during the show, so maybe i'll be in it there too. woo!
ha! you know what i hate? the stupid little girls that are all
