So, as many of you know my sister Julie has a rare, terminal abdominal cancer. Back in August she had to stop chemo because her platelet count became so low that she had a higher risk of dying from that than the cancer. The estimated survival time for this type of cancer without chemo is three months. It has now been six months since Julie has had chemo and her tumour counts are actually LOWER than they were in August! Her doctor is completely baffled and says it is a miracle. Yay! Thank you all again for your positive thoughts and well wishes; let's all keep it up because it's working!
