I made my first
knitting post today and got great responses, so that's exciting. I shall be incorporating some of the suggestions, first in swatches and then in an actual project. Which I'd like to finish by next Wednesday. Ambitious? Perhaps.
I like my job. Which is kind of funny to admit, as I sit in front of a screen all day, waiting for purchase orders to be created (every half-hour on the :20 and :50) so that I can call companies and order overnight delivery of various hospital supplies. I keep meticulous notes of each call and PO. Boring to some, I'm sure. But I think it's exciting.
I'm taking some time off work next week as the family will all be together between Christmas and New Year's. We're planning various and sundry trips and excursions, so that's exciting.
I stopped by Borders to browse Christmas cookie recipes and the cafe forgot to make my drink. When I inquired, they made it and gave me a coupon for a free drink, so that's exciting.
I have a bunch of new British mystery television shows to check out, now that the mom and I have finished Midsomer Murders, so that's exciting. I've already nixed Inspector Lynley, but I still have Foyle's War, Wire in the Blood, Inspector Allyen, and the Ruth Rendell Mysteries.
I'm very much liking my current WIP (=work in progress for you non-knitters)...I made the first too big, the second just right, and am now comfortably into a third, so that's exciting. I've created designs for at least 6, so I can keep going as long as this project holds my interest.
I have given my kitties kitty heroin to much hilarity, so that's exciting. I tried to take pictures/video with my camera, but I'm not sure how they came out. When I find my camera cable and/or chip reader, I'll post to smugmug.
I am done with this list, so that's really exciting. Mock at will.
