more on "Tuesday is anti-abortion day" and other exciting things

I was quite cheered to drive by Planned Parenthood this morning and see my favorite anti-abortion activists with their signs and posters plasterd all over the sidewalk.  Brilliant.  I think the best part, though, was that someone actually walked by and the activists got to hand him a leaflet.  Whew...can barely contain myself from the excitement.  I think it is fitting that I started my period yesterday, keeping with the abortion theme (sort of).  What I really want to know is where they go on days other than Tuesday.  Do they keep a roster and have fixed protests on fixed days (cf garbage disposal/recycling)?  How wide an area do they cover?  Are they mean?

I'll be making my usual Tuesday trip to Brookline today.  So that's exciting.

And I had my exam on the chemistry/geology unit of my class.  Also exciting.  Especially since Dr. Mohanty made it shorter than the first one.  My annotated bibliography on the Flexnor report is due in two weeks.  I might want to start working on that, yeah.   Probably a good idea.

I went to the library before class yesterday and got tons of mystery tv/movies, including my favorite Edward Petherbridge/Harriet Walters Dorothy Sayers ones.  So that's really exciting.  Dad fell asleep watching the beginning of Strong Poison, though, so that was not quite so exciting.  I also have The Last Dectective, Wire in the Blood, Ruth Rendell Mysteries, An Unsuitable Job for a Woman, Cadfael, and the Pale Horse.  So there is lots to choose from, now that we have finished Midsomer Murders.  Exciting, as well.

I'm making some progress on the Clapotis prayer shawl.  So that's exciting.  I even managed to take some pictures this morning as I sat here, bored and waiting for something to do.  But now I have about 20 orders to place, so I am no longer bored.   I guess that's kind of exciting.
