Spring
I'm really surprised at how much I enjoy planting things and helping them grow. My growing projects are all doing really well so far.
Spring break last week was OK for me. The first full week vacation I've had in 7 years. I also took the preceding friday off, so that I was off work for 10 full days (counting weekends). It was nice.
It could have been nicer, I'm sure, if say the girls hadn't been sick or having recently had oral surgery. That was a lowish spot. On the other hand that week would have been pretty bad if I had to go to work on top of dealing with all that. So it was nice in that way too.
I've got two more week vacations to take sometime during the year... and I just might take 'em! That'll be a treat.
I'm also being better friends with my old friend Jack. Shortly after he got married we sort of stopped hanging out for a couple of years (or three or so), but for the last few months I've been hanging out with him again.
And... that's pretty much all for now I suppose.
