wow. my day was really good. o_o
seriously.
I'm feeling really good today. not sure why, but I felt really good yesterday, too. I'm not going to complain.
today my dad came in at 9 in the morning and was like "are you awake?" so I kinda look over my shoulder and grunt at him, 'cause I'm still half asleep. and he tells me to get up, 'cause we're going out for breakfast. I was like... "...the fuck?"
so I get up. give the dogs a walk, and it's 20-something degrees out and flurrying a tad. drove us to candace's house, where dad was going to give her an estimate for the cost of repainting the first floor of her house. candace is fun. XD she's this airheaded middle-aged lady who's got several mental issues but is a total goofball. and she had a REALLY cool house, with all sorts of funky designer furniture and this really old but really sweet dog named rosie. (...XDD)
after that I drove us a couple streets down to the goldstar diner for breakfast. got a mushroom and cheese omelette with a side of sausage links (is it sad that I almost wrote "sasuke" there?) and some tea. then dad drove us to a house he'd painted last week and wanted to make sure the paint job was good. we got into a long discussion about how lucky he was to have rosie and I for children, 'cause we're really good about not blaring our music and irritating them. and we don't listen to rap. which is always a plus.
ANYWAY. then we drove home. drove for five minutes through a small, light snow before we drove out of the narrow band of strange weather patterns. got home. reinstalled the software for my MP3 player to see if it would work again. edited my english paper for the final draft.
when rosie got home today, it was snowing fairly hard. I stood by the door and watched out the window while listening to a song off of loreena mckennitt's newest album play on the radio. it was a really cool feeling.
went to photography class. goofed off. went to taco bell with mum for dinner. went to MY photography class.
came home to find my MP3 player working. flailed.
am currently listening to it.
