omg. i had that EXACT SAME PROBLEM. i ended up having to resort to making my text as a brush, so it wouldn't be all fuzzy and distorted.
haha. i'm soooo ridiculously behind on BLEACH XD i need to catch up, because i heard renji-sannn is back :3 and as for death note, i just want to see the second movie really badly; my cousin said it was good :3

and they TOTALLY CHANGED the ending in the movie. I haven't watched it, yet, but I read a spoiler and OMIGOD. WOW.
